Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2025

Confer utilizes state-of-the-art security and end-to-end encryption to provide private AI conversations. Your privacy is not just a feature—it's the foundation of our service.

Information You Provide

Account Information. When you register, you provide an email address through Google Sign-In. This is used solely for authentication purposes.

Messages. All messages you send are end-to-end encrypted before leaving your device. Confer cannot decrypt or otherwise access the content of your messages. Your message history is stored encrypted on our servers, but only you hold the keys to decrypt it.

Information We Do Not Have

Confer is designed so that we do not have access to your conversation content. We cannot read your messages, and we cannot provide them to anyone else. The encryption keys are generated and stored on your device. Likewise, Confer does not have access to or retain any data from connections to 3rd party APIs such as Google Drive, Google Calendar, or Google Mail.

Technical Information

We store randomly generated authentication tokens and other material necessary to establish connections and deliver messages. We limit this technical information to the minimum required to operate the service.

Data We Will Never Sell

Confer does not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or content in any way—ever. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Your data remains yours.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Sign-In for authentication and Stripe for payment processing. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your information. We do not share your message content with any third parties.

Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
